The third instalment of the Wrecker/Furare ROMS Experience is here, bringing with it murder, mayhem, plots, politics - and a gloriously bloody revolution. If you've ever wanted to liberate a city fallen into the hands of evil, or rule a conquered city as part of a cabal of evil masterminds, this could be your chance. So without further ado, I present to you:

Words & Weapons: A ROMS Revolution (ROMS 17.5)
The Rules
Please read the rules. They are important to your understanding of the game.
Moderation:
- This game is moderated by Furare and wrecker15.
- Questions on rules, deadlines or any other matter that the moderators can settle may be posted in the game thread. Green text is preferred but not mandatory. You may also PM us if you do not want to ask the question publicly.
- We are fairly hands-on moderators, but neither of us are American, so we may not be around to answer your question immediately.
- The moderators reserve the right to refuse to answer any question where they believe an answer might unbalance the game.
Deadlines:
- "Day" refers to the time period where the thread is open for posting.
- "Night" refers to the time period where the thread is closed, and the rogues and roleholders take their respective actions.
- Days will last for 72 hours. Nights will last for 12 hours.
- Night action PMs must be received by 30 minutes before the start of the next Day. Similarly, any Day actions must be received by 30 minutes before the start of the Night.
- Action PMs must be sent to both moderators to be considered valid.
- All deadlines will be at either 4:30am or 4:30pm PST (GMT-8).
- Lynches are status revealing. Bans are status concealing. "Status" refers to both the alignment and the role of the dead party.
Voting:
- Votes should be formatted in bold type - e.g. Vote: Furare. If it isn't bold, it won't be counted.
- Small errors in spelling are allowed as long as the voter's intent is still clear.
- If you want to retract your vote entirely, you may do so with an unvote - Unvote: Furare.
- If you want to change your vote, you do not have to unvote. Just place a vote for your new target, and the old vote is considered voided.
- A lynch will occur if at the deadline: (a) 75% of the living players have voted, and one candidate has more votes than any other; or (b) 50% of the living players have voted for the same candidate.
- If neither of the above conditions have been met, there will be no lynch.
Inactivity
- Any player who does not post for a whole Day cycle is considered inactive, and will be either replaced or removed at the beginning of the next Day cycle.
- If there are no available replacement players, an inactive player will be removed with full status reveal.
- The moderators reserve the right to remove anyone whom they feel is exploiting the inactivity rules, regardless of their status in the game.
- If you feel you need to resign, you may do so at any time by sending a PM to the moderators.
Roles and Roleclaiming
- This is a role game. Innocent players may have roles. Rogues will have access to the rogue team's powers.
- Rogue powers cannot be removed by killing any specific rogue; they are simply possessed by the team in the same manner as their factional kill.
- The number and nature of the roles and powers in the game is a closely-guarded moderator secret.
- Any player may roleclaim - that is, inform the town that they hold a certain role. Do it however you like. We're not going to stop you.
- The moderators will give no indication about whether any specific roleclaim is complete or incomplete, fake or genuine.
- The only statement the moderators will give on the roles in the game is that there is no PWS or Medium.
Communication
- Communication relevant to the game is not allowed between players, with the exception of the rogues, who may only talk to other members of their group.
- The rogue team may set up any means of communication they wish, and may communicate with one another at any time.
- Dead players and non-participants may apply for access to the ROMS 17.5 Dead Thread, where they can discuss the game freely.
- Dead players may not disclose any information from the Dead Thread to live players.
Behaviour
For behaviour rules please consult the community guidelines.
