I have stuff keeping me busy for the next seven weeks or go, so I shouldn't really sign up to play. Unsurprisingly, I'm in the same boat here.

I'd like to play, but I still have a terrible case of the busy. A few of the reasons for that are off my plate, but it doesn't mean they'll stay that way. It's also gearing up to gardening season, and I've got more raised beds to build and populate with tasty potential.
So, you can take this as a sign-up, with the caveat that I will probably not be able to be much more active than I was in the last game.

Come on people, we need more of you!

Bleh, I'm honestly reconsidering my signup. Office reconfigurations have cut way down on my ability to sneak access to ROMS during work hours, and the last thing I need is more temptation to do things I shouldn't be doing. Don't want to give the (evil) boss more sticks to beat me with, etc.

I'd really like to sign up, but I too am incredibly busy. I'll try the Taelac route - I'm in, but don't expect me to be posting very much. I probably won't be able to post every day, but I will post each Day.
And aww, Furare, do you have someone sitting behind you now or something? That sucks.

Everyone is watching me, Sets, you're not special.
I hate open plan offices. Also I got in trouble this morning for turning off the A/C. Because apparently the big boss wants it to be 16C in the big open plan office. What.

Hi all, I have updated the OP to say: "Signups are open until the minimum number of players is reached (18), at which point a deadline for signups will be decided. Postponement or cancellation of this game may occur, due to not having enough players."
I acknowledge that it may be a hectic time for many people, with school and/or work. Thanks for posting. Hopefully the game will have enough players to run at some point, sooner or later.

I'll stay signed up; I might've got fired for insubordination before the game actually gets to run. >.>

If it's not going to start for a week or two I should be free to join in. I didn't sign up earlier as I wasn't sure how busy I would be over the Easter holidays but I'll be freer when the kids are back at school and college.

My company is about to switch the big main office to a fully open floor plan. Everyone INCLUDING THE CEO is going to be at a workstation with a low wall - like, you can see over the cube wall while sitting down. Everyone is livid.
Luckily, I'm in a small satellite office where we are NOT doing that, as far as I can tell, though we are due to move next year. I'm running the office search, so I'll know if they try.

Open plan offices suck. The only thing they're good for is saving space and money; they're not actually very good for employees at all, according to a study I read. (Health or morale.)

Open office works quite well for my company. I think it depends what sort of industry you're in. Our biggest struggle is noise isolation.
I quite enjoy not feeling like cubicle walls are closing in on me. I wouldn't be able to work that way at all.

Yeah, we never had cubicles, we had smaller offices with like 4-6 people in them. Which was nice and cosy. This is so cold (literally) and kinda classroom-esque.

When I would visit my dad at work when I was younger (yay Take Your Daughter to Work Day!) I remember being kind of skeeved out by the background noise of low-level mutterings of people and the flourescent (I totally killed that word and it's too early for me to spell-check it) lighting. Cubicles are not the place for me.
Since we're not sure when this game is going to run, put me as a possible replacement for now, as I may or may not be able to actually play when the time comes.

Thank god for my giant training room, with my one workstation in it just for me. Sad part is everything is blocked from my work place

My "office space" is getting downsized either in July or in January. From the 3 bedroom house I currently live in to a 3 room unit. Damn back. Too expensive to retrofit my house for ease of use for me now that I'm deteriorating and looking at a wheelchair before my son's planned 16th birthday present (We're going to Canada, he wants a white Christmas and since that's his birthday). They originally had projected a wheelchair by the time I turned 45 - which being 12 years from now I could deal with. Now we're looking at the next 5 years since I'm starting to lose feeling in my toes and feet.
Insommnia sucks by the way.
Oh well, at least the view in the new house is a lot better than this one, and I don't HAVE to do any gardening or mowing - which is a good thing since the new house looks out over 4 acres of themed garden on a 20 acre block of land.

Phoe I thought your child was still in the single digits? Sorry to hear about your back, but hold onto hope that there may be something that can help; look at what they can do now that they couldn't 10 years ago.

He is. Figured 7 years gave us enough time to save for 4 plane tickets and all other associated costs, since I'm taking my parents with me as well.

I think we should think about trying to get together a small vanilla or something while we wait, to give the people who can and want to a game to play. Anyone else agree?
In other news, my co-workers are still shockingly racist. Big surprise.

Your coworkers are racist, yet you want a small vanilla something?
*snickers and runs away*
I'd be up for that too, though. I can run it or play it, either way.

I can play if you can get enough players and can start in about a week otherwise gonna miss my free time of nothingness. Or someone needs to do another interim around that time I want to playyyyyyyy Yes I am still alive.

My signup is now highly conditional, based on timing. Life is just too full. So, hit me back up when it's time to go?
