Bunny, just a general question.
I get that you discuss things by asking questions, and if it satisfies you, you drop the issue. If it doesn't, you kep asking. When is 'I'm not satisfied with your answers' enough for a vote? I'm curious as to where you draw the line.

So here's where I'm at: I think wrecker's judging my posts based on the fact that we play differently, which I know can be off-putting, but there's no way for me to really respond to that other than "that's how I play". That said, I think she's misguided, but I don't think she's the rogue. I'm left with marinated. Who is now voting me based on a "leaning" when she says she has an "obvious case" on wrecker. Which, seriously, where else would she vote? Wrecker seems willing to vote me, I don't seem willing to vote wrecker - there's really only one option for marinated here. Also, what Marinated says here: I didn't reply to the post because I didn't want to pre-empt anything Bunny might say. XIII was one of my favourite games. I agree that Tae would be willing to be lynched for the FoI if necessary, which is why I didn't give any to either Riku or you for the early Tae votes. It's also why I would ignore anything she said after the end of Day 3 as it would be said in the knowledge that she was likely to be lynched. contradicts what she said when I said she backed off from voting Tae when more people were willing to vote there: There were clearly not more people willing to vote Tae on Day 4, or she would have been lynched then. So either Tae's lynch was a foregone conclusion after Day 3's actions or it wasn't; which are you claiming? My vote's staying where it is.

Yeah, I know no one gets FoI. Does that make you any more suspicious of her, or is it not a factor? I don't think it's a factor.

When is 'I'm not satisfied with your answers' enough for a vote? I'm curious as to where you draw the line. It really depends on the situation. I don't have a list of ROMSbehavior that I abide by regardless of what's happening in the thread. If I've asked questions and the person either hasn't answered or their answers serve to heighten rather than calm my suspicion, I'll vote for them.

Bunny: that's not a contradiction at all. And I think you misunderstood what I meant by leaning there.

How can you say Tae "was likely to be lynched after Day 3" and say "there weren't more people willing to lynch Tae Day 4" and not see a contradiction there?

I get that my cases on both of you are things you can't really refute because they're based on vote timings which you can't defend while being status-unknown. Also playstyle.
Answers to the queries I've been making help though, thanks.

I said that Tae probably thought she would be lynched. Not that others did.

Oh, that makes sense. That's not how I read it though. OK, not a contradiction. What did you mean by leaning then?

Post by Marinated on Oct 14, 2013 16:25:16 GMT -8
I meant that taking both cases into consideration, I think that you are most likely to be rogue. It wasn't a case against Wrecker and a leaning against you.

Can you recap what your case against me is? Because I remember "presentiment" and "votes".

Currently weighing precedent against what some might call "the Spirit of the Game".
According to the former, the clock ran out before a hammer vote was placed and we now go to Night 7 and the inevitability of rogue victory.
According to the latter, the townies caught the rogue and that should be all that counts.
Rules exist for a reason. I know what I should rule this as, but that doesn't change the fact that it feels wrong.

Okay, this is stupid, I know what I gotta do.
Officially Day 7 is a No Lynch. We're now in Night 7. Because of the way things stand, we know the ban will end the game as a rogue victory.
Thanks to all this excitement I really have to go to the bathroom, so I'll post the ban and the rogue victory stuff in a few minutes.
Perhaps we should all just consider the game a draw. It was closely fought enough to be one, whoever I ruled as the victor from this mess.

I'm sorry again, Furare, for putting that pressure on you. I promise that I really really really didn't mean to. Don't be mad? ><
I prefer my town victory scene, but I'll probably post that in the DT, heh.

Good game everyone!
I think for me at least, the satisfaction of knowing we chose correctly in the end is enough, regardless of the final result.

Likewise.
The vote was so late because I was literally ready to cry at the end there. I think I may have unintentionally stolen Furare's limelight in XVII for 'most nail biting rogue reveal' >.>

Wrecker15 is banned.
Game Over, Rogues Win.
Well played to all, though.

Don't feel bad about the lynch ruling, it was the right decision Can we have the DT password, or can you open it up? I kind of want to see how many minds I've blown in the last Day, lol. I know I certainly blew my own.

*polishes nails on her coat* Thirty-two seconds. In the end, that was what settled what I needed to do. I would've accepted the town loss if that vote had not come in before the deadline but Crazy's had. And so in this case. I am sorry that it came down to a technicality like that. The game deserved better than one confused moderator trying to make up her mind who should win.
